The last 11 days have been full of fun - mucus, puke, croup, wheezing, coughing, bloody noses, headaches, ear infections, fevers, antibiotics and even! a trip to the ER! Not to mention the whining. Ah, the whining... Oh, and Mary-Kate and Ashley. How could I forget them?! Little One will not stop whining unless she is sitting on my lap watching To Grandmothers House We Go - that Olsen classic. I think we have watched it over 100 times at this point. And the DVD conveniently restarts itself at the end. I don't even have to burn a calorie. LO can barely talk, but she can recite almost the whole movie.
We are down to just 2 sick kids (from 3), so I guess that is progress. But I am pretty sure I need another bottle of the yummy pink stuff (amoxicillin) - so I will be visiting my friendly Target pharmacists soon - where they actually call me by name. (There are entirely too many people at Target who know me by name.) But at least they give me the RIGHT MEDICINE, unlike my unfriendly (and obviously incompetent) CVS pharmacists! (That is another post entirely.)
Damn groundhog.
